Legend of Asia is one of the Kansas City area's largest Asian restaurants — a 9,240-square-foot dining room that comfortably seats more than 300 guests in the heart of Blue Springs, Missouri. For over a decade we've been a favorite for families and groups across Blue Springs, Independence, Lee's Summit, and the greater Eastern Jackson County area, bringing together an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet, freshly made Japanese sushi, and a sizzling hibachi and Mongolian grill — all under one roof..
Our buffet features more than 80 Chinese dishes and over 25 varieties of authentic Japanese sushi, all skillfully prepared and artfully presented. Alongside the classics you'll find a generous spread of fresh salads, seasonal fruits, and desserts, four kinds of soup (hot & sour, miso, wonton, and egg drop), and a full beverage selection that goes well beyond the soda fountain — including a choice of beers, wines, and bottled juices. From General Tso's Chicken and Crab Rangoon to hand-rolled sushi, every dish is crafted to have its own distinct flavor, because we believe a great buffet should never taste like "just another buffet."
Some of the best food at Legend of Asia is made right in front of you. Our Mongolian grill lets you pick your own ingredients from an assortment of meats, seafood, and vegetables, choose your sauce, and watch it cooked to order in just minutes. We also prepare a full sushi bar serving everything from California and Dragon rolls to fresh sushi and hand rolls.
Quality is the difference you can taste. We use only the freshest ingredients, and we cook our stir-fry dishes in cold-pressed olive oil. Our food is made with No MSG — we flavor with plain chicken or beef base, and our egg drop soup stock is simmered from chicken bones over low heat for six hours, with all the fat carefully skimmed off. It's a little more work, and it's worth it.
